Our 10.4m Sport Fisher boat is comfortable for long days out at sea and well equipped for Game Fishing, all our tackle is current and well maintained, we also have a huge selection of lures.
We specialise in Game Fishing almost the entire year targeting various species throughout the year. Tuna fishing is our “Special” Specialty and we target Yellowfin Tuna all year round. We have highest Tuna catch rate off Durban
We offer 5, 8, 12 and 18hr Game Fish trips
We are always busy during Game Fish season with many Game Fishing and Marlin trips which keeps us up to date with conditions.
Please understand that there is no Guarantee that we will get a Game Fish, we can only assure you of our best efforts at all times. We have a good reputation, and one of the highest Game fish catch rates off Durban, our list of many satisfied clients can bear testament to this.
NOTE: You are required by law to have in your possession a valid fishing license on any deep sea fishing trip. You only require a standard fishing licence which must be in your name and is available at any South African Post Office. You do not require the additional boat fishing permit as only one person on the boat is required to have this and this is held by the skipper. NB: Should you fail to bring this along we will not be held responsible for any fines. |

At Blue Water Charters, Game Fishing and Big Game Fishing is one of our specialties, from Inshore Game Fishing to the indigo Blue Waters of the deep.
On these trips we can accommodate a maximum of 8 persons, who can enjoy a comfortable day out on our spacious boat.
The are many techniques used to target game fish from trolling hard lipped lures, skirted and feathered lures, strip baits, dead baits and live baits. The techniques used will vary according to the season, conditions and the target species.
In addition we are also equipped for Vertical Jigging, Spinning, Plugging and Drop Shot for the energetic anglers. We carry a range of tackle from light, to medium to heavy.
Based at Wilsons Wharf Marina in the Durban harbour, our boat is easily accessible with the walk on moorings, and after a longs day at sea there are restaurants, pubs, shops and rest rooms. Even better is that the parking is free and there is security there so you car is as safe as it could be in SA.

We offer various Game Fishing.
· Durban - Day Trips - From 8hrs up to 12hrs
· Richards Bay - 3 Day trips
· Durban - Book our boat for 2 days or more and even over a weekend and sleep on the boat at the Marina.
· Long Range Game Fish Trip/Cruise where we depart from Durban and make our way to Richards Bay where we sleep over and can even spend a few days fishing in Richards Bay before we make our way back to Durban.
