No.2-7 Stainless Steel Wire
Small Split Ring
No.10-8 Swivel

Tiger Fish Lure Trace - Cut a short piece of wire around 250mm long
50mm from one end form a loop with round nose pliers and bend until the tag end and main wire are perpendicular to each other

Materials Required

No.2-7 Stainless Steel Wire

Small Split Ring

No.10-8 Swivel

Cut a short piece of wire around 250mm long

50mm from one end form a loop with round nose pliers and bend until the tag end and main wire are perpendicular to each other

Tiger Fish Lure Trace - Hold the loop firmly with pliers and begin your Haywire Twist

The loop should look like this

Hold the loop firmly with pliers and begin your Haywire Twist

Tiger Fish Lure Trace - Begin to twist the main line and tag over each other at least 4 times, you must ensure that both wires twist over each other to form the correct twist so that your finished loop will not slip

Begin to twist the main line and tag over each other at least 4 times, you must ensure that both wires twist over each other to form the correct twist so that your finished loop will not slip

The completed twist should look like this

Tiger Fish Lure Trace - You then wrap the tag wire at least 4 times over the main wire

Tiger Fish Lure Trace - Once finished wrapping you simply bend the tag wire back towards the loop and it will break off leaving you a smooth haywire twist.
Do not cut the tag off as this will cause a sharp edge.

You then wrap the tag wire at least 4 times over the main wire

Once finished wrapping you simply bend the tag wire back towards the loop and it will break off leaving you a smooth haywire twist.

Do not cut the tag off as this will cause a sharp edge.

Tiger Fish Lure Trace - Add the spilt ring and perform the same haywire twist on the opposite side for the swivel, the loop for the swivel should be much smaller

The completed haywire twist should look like this

Add the spilt ring and perform the same haywire twist on the opposite side for the swivel, the loop for the swivel should be much smaller
